FOX Sports announced Monday that it has been selected as one of five finalists in the 2017 Audi Sport Car Challenge for the 2017 Autosport Awards.
The competition, which will recognize top sports car teams from across the world, is open to sports car drivers who have driven at least 10,000 miles and driven at most 30,000 kilometers over the past five years.
Fox Sports has won the Audi Sport Challenge twice before.
The Audi Sport car competition has long been a key component of Fox Sports’ regular sports content, which was previously hosted on Fox Sports Radio.
Fox has a strong history of producing and showcasing great content for the sport of motorsport, with more than 50 programs and features annually.
The 2018 Audi Sport Cars will race on the same layout as the 2018 Audi R8 TDI, with an overall length of 7.8 meters (26 feet) and a maximum weight of 1,600 kilograms (3,200 pounds).
They will also use a hybrid powertrain.
