The six-cylinder engine produces a peak torque of 556Nm (345 lb ft), which is significantly more than the 3,500Nm or 380lb ft produced by the 6-speed V8 of the current model.
The manual gearbox is also a huge upgrade, allowing for the automatic to be fitted to the rear axle, which will increase the torque output to 563Nm.
The new automatic is available as a standard package, but can be upgraded to an electric package that comes standard with the C63.
The all-electric model comes standard, while the petrol engine and all-electronic system are available as an option.

The 7LT will be available in Australia and is expected to be a more expensive model.
