Epic sports startup Watch No Play has launched its beta program for analytics, as the company continues to push to get into the sports-specific software space.
The beta program will initially be available for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch running iOS 11.
The program is being designed to be a “frictionless platform” for sports teams to begin building out their analytics data, which includes all-game data, opponent metrics, and stats from the past, present, and future seasons.
Epic will also make available a variety of third-party tools, including advanced analytics, advanced analytics dashboard tools, and custom data visualization and visualizations.
The company’s analytics tools include a customized analytics dashboard for each team’s games, including stats on how the team performs on key metrics, such as scoring, possession, and shot rate, as well as the number of shot attempts, shots, and points.
The analytics dashboard will also be available as a separate app for Android and iOS.
Epical also says that the beta program is “the perfect opportunity for Epic to get in front of the sports analytics market as it continues to grow,” as the sports technology industry is experiencing “massive growth” in terms of revenue and adoption.
Epics sports analytics tools are currently in beta and should be available to users in early 2018.
Watch No Playing is currently in development and will be available in early 2019.
